Meet Our Staff

Kim Kezlarian, M.D., M.S.A.
Dr. Kezlarian is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. He graduated from the Wayne State University Medical School in 1977 and completed his Family Practice Residency at Midland Hospital Center in 1980. He obtained a degree in Medical Management through the American Academy of Physician Executives in 1993. Also in 1993, he received a Masters Degree in Hospital Administration from Central Michigan University. He was trained in Occupational Medicine at the University of Cincinnati in 1996 and 1997. Dr. Kezlarian is certified in ACLS and BLS and Occupational Medicine.

He is on staff at Henry Ford Hospital and the Troy and Rochester Hills DocNow Urgent Care locations.

Edgar Altares, M.D.
Dr. Altares is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a Diplomate of
the American Board of Family Practice. He graduated from Far Eastern
University Medical School in Manila, Philippines in 1979. He completed
his Family Practice Residency at North Oakland Medical Center in Pontiac
in 1994 and is certified in ACLS and BLS. Dr. Altares is a member of the
American Academy of Family Physicians, the Michigan Academy of
Family Physicians, the Philippine Medical Association of Family
Physicians and the Southeastern Michigan Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Altares is on staff at North Oakland Medical Center in Pontiac, St. John-Macomb Medical
Center, Warren and Walter Reuther Psychiatric Hospital in Westland.

Katrina Parmelee-Peters, M.D.
Dr. Parmelee-Peters is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a
Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. She graduated
from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2000,
completed her Family Practice Residency at Troy Beaumont Hospital in
2003 and her fellowship in Sports Medicine at Providence Hospital in
Southfield in 2004. Additionally, she is certified in ACLS and BLS.
Dr. Parmelee-Peters is a member of the American Academy of Family
Medicine, American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports
Medicine.

DocNow Urgent Care Locations.

John Sosa, M.D.
Dr. Sosa is Board Certified in Family practice and is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Family Practice. He graduated from the American
University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten and
completed three years of Surgical Residency at St. Joseph-Mercy Hospital.
He completed his Family Practice Residency at Providence Hospital in
Southfield in 2005. Additionally, he is certified in ACLS and BLS. Dr. Sosa
is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine, American
College of Sports Medicine, the Michigan State Medical Society and the Oakland County Medical
Society.

Janice Suhajda, M.D.
Dr. Suhajda is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a Diplomate of
the American Board of Family Practice. She graduated from Wayne
State University Medical School in 1991. In 1994, she completed her
Family Practice Residency at Providence hospital in Southfield.
Additionally, she is certified in ACLS and BLS.Dr. Suhajda is a member
of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Michigan
Academy of Family Physicians.

She is on staff at the Troy and Rochester Hills DocNow Urgent Care locations.

Steven Cogswell, M.D.
Dr. Cogswell is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a Diplomate of the American Board of
Family Practice. He graduated from the Michigan State University Medical School in 1992 and
completed his Family Practice Residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in 1999. In
addition, Dr. Cogswell served in the United States Navy as a General Medical Officer and Senior
Medical Officer from 1993-1997. Dr. Cogswell is the Director of Didactic Education for the Genesys
Family Practice Residency, and an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of
Human Medicine. Additionally, he is certified in ACLS and BLS. Dr. Cogswell is a member of the
American Academy of Family Physicians, the Michigan State Medical Society and the Oakland
County Medical Association.

Zheng Wu, M.D.
Dr. Wu is Board Certified in Family Practice and is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Family Practice. She graduated from Guangxi
Medical University of China in 1986 and completed her Family Practice
Residency at St. Louis University in 2004. Additionally, she is certified
in ACLS and BLS.Dr. Wu is a member of the American Academy of
Family Physicians.
