REFERRING Physicians Information
DocNow is committed to maintaining the Primary Care Physician
and Patient Relationship:
DocNow is not a Primary Care office and does not treat chronic conditions. We provide treatment of urgent and emergent conditions. All patients who have a primary care physician are referred back for follow up. Patients who do not have a primary care physician who present with a condition that requires ongoing care will be referred to a primary care physician who is accepting new patients. If you would like to be on our referral list, please contact us at 1-888-8DocNow.
All patient visits are reported to the primary care physician and referring physician via fax the day of the patient's visit. We can also fax copies of the patient's lab and X-ray results, if requested.
Your patient will benefit from using DocNow Urgent Care by being seen in a timely manner by a Board Certified Physician. Patients will not have to endure the long waits that they would in a hospital emergency room. And your patient's co-pay is, in many cases, significantly less than an emergency room visit co-pay.
